Memories of the 1950’s

I have read previously with interest in TAM about a one or two areas of the U3A that had gathered memories of growing up post- war, the last one being Thanet, described in last autumn’s issue of TAM. In Lockdown it occurred to me that while we are all confined to home, it would be a good idea if we in the Tendring area did this. I have suggested this to my Discussion Group who are meeting on Zoom and would like to extend it to everyone in our thriving U3A-it is a good chance to get your little grey cells working while in never-ending lockdown.
Click on the pieces I have written under various headings, and the plan is to organise the memories under these different headings and perhaps end up with a pamphlet for others in our U3A to read.
I would also be glad to hear from anyone with better computer skills than me who could assist with the laying out of the material.
Thanks
