Teignmouth & District

U3A is a recognised and acknowledged leader in positive ageing for the wellbeing of older people and the communities in which they live.

Teignmouth & District U3A meets on the first Tuesday of every month at 2pm,in the United Reformed Church building (parking in the Eastcliff Car Park).

We share a love of Teignmouth and surrounding communities and attracted 265 paid up members in our first 4 months - we are driven by serving all older people in our wonderful town and surrounding villages.

Teignmouth & District U3A is a self-help Group offering study and leisure activities for those who have some time on their hands. No qualifications are necessary and there is no age limit - just a thirst for learning and/or friendly company.

U3A is a self-help group where individuals contribute as much as they enjoy doing - please use the "Contact" button if you feel you can offer something.

You are welcome to attend one or two of the monthly meetings as a visitor to get to know us or just to listen to our guest speaker and to get a feel for what the U3A has to offer you. Visitors pay £1.00 to attend these meetings - this includes insurance and a cup of tea or coffee.

We have around 60 active Groups, - see Events and Group pages for details of when they meet.

The U3A movement is a great way to meet local people and to make friends with neighbours. Costs are minimal because our activities are organised by our members, who freely share their skills, time, experience and expertise.
