Thank you for visiting this page, whether you are a current or prospective member of the U3A movement.
Teignmouth & District u3a is part of a national movement for positive ageing for the wellbeing of older people and the communities in which we live. We currently have over 240 active members who have joined because they wish to socialise and learn together. We belong to the Devon Link network of local u3a's and share knowledge and experience, growing the u3a movement together.
The u3a movement is a great way to meet like-minded local people (even if "in the Zoom"). We have a self help ethos - there are no teachers, we all learn together. For more information about the benefits of membership please read 'Joining Teignmouth & District U3A' via the link on the right. You will find an Application Form link on the Membership page.
We have around 40 Interest Groups, covering everything from social to exercise to learning together. A number of our Groups now meet by e-mail and Zoom, or in gardens or outdoors - see Groups page for details.
To join us, no qualifications are necessary and there is no age limit - just a wish to continue learning and to meet new friends.
