The first meeting of the new Science group(s) will be on Friday, 11th January, 10 - 12 in the Arthur Meredith room. Please note the change in room as we now have 19 interested members.
At this launch meeting, we would like to spend some time discussing members' ideas on how the group should work.
What sort of topics or subjects should we cover,
Do we want talks or discussions,
How often should we meet, for how long etc?
Do we want one general STEM group or several groups each covering specific disciplines?
(STEM = Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics)
If he can find his way there, Ron Chisnall has kindly agreed to give a talk on 'GPS and Sat Navs' which I hope should promote some lively debate.
See you there.
