Italian

The Italian Interest group meets 1st and 3rd Tuesdays at 10.00 in The Crown Tarporley. There are currently eight members who enjoy relaxed and enthusiastic sessions getting to grips with the Italian language in all its forms.

Primarily we try to develop conversation skills, although of necessity we also cover grammar to help us in this. We are very fortunate to have the indispensable help of an Italian speaker who also helps us with the more idiomatic nuances of the language.

Currently the group is now able to hold simple conversations in Italian and cope with most social situations. We have covered all the basic tenses and are able to read, write and understand the language to lower intermediate level.

We would welcome any new members with similar experience of Italian but absolute beginner would do better to join a new group. You can put your name down by contacting groups enquires on the contacts page.
