French 1

We are a group of 10 or so “Francophiles” who meet twice a month in the Arthur Meredith room at the Community Centre on the first and third Wednesday. We are all keen to improve our skills and confidence in speaking French and our ability to understand spoken French so we try to use the language as much as possible during the session. Most of us did study French in the dim and distant past, but were quite rusty when we started. We do use a course book to provide a bit of structure, but the sessions are far from formal and the “pause café” in the middle of the 90 minute session is a great opportunity for socialising.
