Both groups continue to thrive and bring great joy to all. There are well over 40 strummers involved now and we all note how uplifting Monday afternoons are.
We have woken up many residents of Care Homes and Day Centres with our playing and singing and are starting to acknowledge the impending arrival of Xmas by working on our range of Carols for our seasonal concerts in December.
We have two dates to “teach” a little Ukulele to W.I. groups, so 2-chord songs are being researched for those gigs.
We were all sad to hear of the death of Lancelot (John) Kent; he entertained us all with his stories of busking in Europe and he will be sorely missed by us all.
