Monthly Meetings 2019-2020

Second Wednesday of the Month

There is a monthly general meeting of Syston & District U3A on the second Wednesday of each month. The meetings are held at Syston Conservative Club,(Malthouse Suite) High St, Syston.

A short session of announcements is followed by a speaker. Guest speakers have been arranged until April 2020 and are listed below.

Julie Vernon is an award winning mosaic artist working from her Nottinghamshire studio. Julie will give an overview of her creative practice in a Powerpoint presentation highlighting some of her recent projects and commissions.

Fri Nov 1st Trip to the NEC Christmas Craft Fair, Cost £15, leaving The Green, Syston at 9.30.
Organised by Elaine Yarwood Theatre group enquiry who will take the names of anyone else who wants to go in case someone drops out.
Thu Mar 12th 2020 The Phantom of the Opera at the Curve Theatre, matinee performance.
40 seats have been obtained, and a few are still available, contact Elaine Yarwood Theatre group enquiry, a £10 deposit is required.
