Group Leader Maureen Sinclair-Currie
We are a small group of 10, which seems to be about the right number, so this group is now full.
Discussion Group meets on the third Wednesday of the month from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Ann’s home in Holbeach, which is just off the A17 at the School Academy turn off. We are a small group of 10 which seems to be about the right number. Our discussion topics are wide and varied. We truly “live laugh and learn”
In the past our discussions included: Birth of the Common Market, Knife crime, Private education versus state education, Crime and punishment, What does Christmas mean to me, Seasonal times and memories, Is the World a better place now that when we were young. At the end of each meeting the “infamous wallet” chosen by members include: Things I cannot resist, Favourite word and why; What is your earliest memory; What historical event do you wish you had attended; What 4 people would you invite to a dinner party and why (dead or alive)
Please contact Maureen Sinclair-Currie if you wish any further information.
