Sutton Bridge

Interest Groups

Interest Groups are the lifeblood of U3A Sutton Bridge and reflect the knowledge, skills and expertise of our members.

Over the years since the start of U3A Sutton Bridge there has been a flourish of groups starting. The range of groups which function depends on the members who have a knowledge or a skill which they would enjoy sharing with others.

It is in the groups that friendships are forged as members follow their shared interests. Leaders of groups are not necessarily experts - enthusiasm is more important, as the direction taken is generated by the group.

Larger groups meet in a hired room, smaller groups in members' homes.

Most groups meet during the day.

We are always seeking to expand the range of groups which we offer. If you have a particular interest and think you might like to form a group, please discuss it with the Group Leaders or any member of the committee.

Please ensure you know your Membership Number when joining Groups. Please if you are part of any of the ‘Interest Groups’ could you inform the group leader, if you are unable to attend or if you no longer wish to be part of that particular group.
