If you are new to Sutton-in-Ashfield U3A, welcome to our website. If you are an existing member, we aim to give you an easy source of information on our activities.
We have tried to make it easy to find your way around, so why not spend a little time learning about us and what we may be able to offer you!
Sutton in Ashfield U3A is part of a national movement of retired and semi retired people. We come together to continue our educational, social, and creative interests in a friendly and informal environment. No qualifications required!
Members draw on their own experience to teach and learn from each other. For pleasure and the reward of learning and continuing personal development and keeping active in body and mind. Members make new friends, develop and share new interests, and can take part in running groups and the U3A as a whole.
Volunteers and the committee work hard to make Sutton in Ashfield U3A a friendly group that will fulfil the needs of its members. We would like as much participation, ideas and help that anyone feels able to offer. We are willing to listen and take forward any suggestion that members would like. Our aim is to remain a group that enthuses members, promotes friendship and fun, encourages others to join and enables them to feel that they are part of a club to be proud of.
