|Place:||United Reformed Church, Sutton Coldfield, B73 6AA|
|Day:||Fourth Thursday of the month.|
Definitive meeting dates are displayed in the Monthly Programme, and further details of each meeting are on the notice board in the foyer of the URC and in Sage.
The monthly talk takes place on the fourth Thursday of every month, with the exceptions of August and December when there is no talk.
U3A members or a guest speaker are invited to present a short talk of general interest, usually lasting between an hour and an hour and a quarter, with time for any questions and answers.
Speakers are booked at least a year in advance, and the subjects vary between serious and humorous, whilst some are a humorous take on a serious subject. All, hopefully, are interesting!
We break for tea/coffee (subsidised cost 50p, payable directly to the cafe please, and not included in the admission price) at 11.00am for about 20 minutes, then continue until 12.00 noon.
Recommendations from members who have attended talks at various other venues have proved to be a good way to source quality speakers. If anyone would like to suggest individuals for the monthly talk from first-hand knowledge, please send a message to the organiser via the 'flying bird' icon at the top right hand side of this page (or at the foot of the page for those viewing on mobile devices).
Everyone is welcome to come along to the monthly meeting.
