Throughout 2015, we had a series of seminars on controversial subjects ranging from Fracking and Badger Culling to High Speed Trains and Decriminalizing Cannabis. In 2016 and 2017 we had a change of emphasis and nearly all of the seminars focussed on the lives of famous scientists, mathematicians and engineers.
The series began with the life of Charles Darwin, followed by the life and work of famous scientists and engineers such as Isaac Newton, James Watt, Isambard Kingdom Brunell, Albert Einstein, Ada Lovelace and Florence Nightingale.
