Tredegar House

From Pirates to Daleks and Wild Animals to the Dark Arts . . . !

It’s all happened at Tredegar House over its long and colourful history. Now, much of that history has been brought back to life as the National Trust takes care of this wonderful historic house for the next 50 years.

So, members of the Photographic Group decided to brave the elements recently to try and capture the essence of the history of this magnificent building just off the A48 on film as it were.
Despite a surprisingly low turn out, maybe it was the weather after all, we spent an interesting and informative afternoon both in the newly laid out gardens and in the house itself, now so well on its way to being fully restored to its former glory.

Here’s a couple of shots of the grounds, the stables, the main building and of course . . . . . the dalek!
To find out what part he has to play in all this you’ll have to visit and find out for yourself.
