The astronomy group is an opportunity for people to get together and share their enthusiasm and curiosity, while learning about the universe we live in. You don't need any prior knowledge or experience, nor are you expected to own telescopes or binoculars. That said, a few members do own one or more 'scopes, so this is an opportunity to use one!
We meet in the Foster Room at 10:00 AM on the second Friday of each month.
Weather permitting, we meet for ad hoc observing sessions at suitable locations e.g. Hill Head.
