Leader Diana Scott
Meetings 2nd Tuesday of the month 10am to 12 noon
This is a thriving group which meets monthly either in a member’s home or at a garden of interest. In January, we start the year with our annual lunch party. At home meetings we might watch a DVD, plan visits, have readings or do a quiz. In February 2016 we had a most interesting talk from a lecturer from Pershore College on Gardens of France - Bagatelle and Giverny, which we all thoroughly enjoyed.
As the weather gets warmer, we get out and about. We have visited several National Trust properties including Hanbury Hall, Coughton Court, Baddesley Clinton, Packwood House, Snowshill and Charlecote. We have also visited Mill Dene Garden, the National Herb Centre and Batsford Arboretum.
Anyone with an interest in gardens is welcome to join us. You do not have to be an expert in all things horticultural! However, since we travel we do ask that you have your own transport and are willing to give lifts to others if at all possible.
