This is a new group founded in March 2019 to encourage greater use of bus transport in the West Midlands and surrounding counties. Although primarily a bus group other complimentary forms of public transport, such as train or tram, will occasionally be used when it is more convenient. Typically members will assemble at Stourbridge bus station and take a bus to another town and spend a couple of hours there before returning to Stourbridge either direct or via another town.Sometimes towns have a town trail or heritage trail to explore but if members want to explore local tea shops that is fine-it is free time. Depending on the level of interest more ambitious journeys could be arranged for the future including visits to transport museums etc. Members suggestions for future events are always welcome and every effort will be made to accommodate them.
All the organiser asks is that members email beforehand to let me know who is attending. This is because capacity on buses is limited and there may need to be modifications to the programme if a smaller bus is used.
Thank you for your interest.
