Following the closure of the Wednesday Genealogy & Family History Group we had a very kind offer from Jean Bates to set up a beginners class entitled FAMILY HISTORY – GETTING STARTED. This will start on Monday 3rd December at 2pm at Jean’s home in Wall Heath with a maximum number of 6 people. The aim of the class is to inform and direct people who are just embarking on Family History. As the subject has a limited life anyway Jean proposes to do it for 3 months initially but will continue subject to it's popularity.

I attach information regarding a proposed Relaxation and Motivation Group which will be led by Keith Picken. There will be a maximum of 20 people in the group which will be held on a Monday morning.

The Social sub-committee have purchased 20 tickets for the Black Dyke Brass Band at Birmingham Symphony Hall on Sunday 20th January 2019 at 2.30 pm. The tickets cost £17 each (£18 for non-members) and there are tickets still available. You will need to make your own way there and meet in the foyer for collection of tickets from Brenda.
