Art Group
The Art group meets on the second and fourth Thursday of the month 2pm x 4pm. We meet at Norton Community Centre, Kempton Way, Stourbridge DY8 3AP. sessions are £1.
The group is not instructor lead, rather is cultivates an environment where members can learn from each other and seek support for individual projects. Art can take many forms and members use a variety of media for example pencil, pastels, ink, watercolour and acrylics. No previous experience is necessary and all levels of talent are welcome.
We will aim to visit as a group, suitable art displays as they arise and in summer months also to work outside in local areas.
You need to come with your own supplies, including a water pot if necessary. At the moment we are also asking that you bring your own refreshments, hand sanitiser and mask if you wish. Hand washing facilities are available and the room allows for us to spread the tables out and have windows open. Due to COVID risk please not not attend any session if you feel at all unwell.
