Family History/Genealogy

The main family history group meets on the third Wednesday of the month from 2.00 – 4.00 pm at St James’ Church Hall, Wollaston.

Our aim is to extend our knowledge and skill in researching and recording our family history. Members vary in their knowledge of family history from beginners to those who have been researching their family history for many years.

Meetings include: covering various aspects of family history; visiting speakers; group discussions; practical work using computers and short presentations by group members on their family history.

A smaller group meet on the third Monday of the month from 10.00 am to 12.00 noon at St James’ Church Hall in Wollaston.

This group has two aims: recording details of information found about our family history lines, using a variety of systems; and practical research using a variety of online resources. St James’ Church Hall has WIFI and we are able to access the internet using our own laptops or notepads.

For further information about the groups contact Lesley Rees 01384 376500, or use the email link opposite.
