September’s amble will be across the wood and fields by Ashwood primary school and then back up along the canal. We will see the weir, called Wordsley waterfall, by folks who noticed its exit in lockdown. If we have had a lot of rain it may be muddy and the path up to the canal has a steep slope at the end but is easier to go up than down so bring walking poles or sticks if you need to.
