The Basement Jazz at the home of Sheila Dixon.
Everyone is encouraged to bring along a cd. Or we have Bluetooth for streamers. We even have a good old record player or tape facility, yes we’re that crusty!! Every month we have a different Theme. For the first month, January, please bring
a track with a song or Jazz tune with Steps or Stairs in the title, artist or lyrics eg “I’m on the Stairway to Paradise “ , or in the lyrics of “Love for Sale”
If you can tell the group some history behind the artists or the recording that would be really good too. All kinds of Jazz from the earliest New Orleans recordings through Swing and Be bop to the latest modern styles are welcome.
There is a break of 15 - 20 mins for tea/coffee and biscuits.

Some of us visit other Jazz Venues throughout the year. The monthly Jazz Scene at The Bonded Warehouse, Birmingham Jazz Club at the Jewellery Quarter, Upton on Severn in June, the Swan at Chaddesley Corbett are just a few of the places we visit.
Why not come and join this friendly group for a great afternoon of good music.
