Our outdoor sessions will be again be held at
Oldswinford Cricket ground, Albemarle Road DY8 2BG
Every Wednesday 14:00-16:00 May till September - weather permitting
We are always looking for new participants to join our group
Walking Cricket is designed to be less physical than the normal game but just as competitive.
- 8 a-side teams play with a composite plastic bat and practice cricket ball in a limited overs game.
- Open to all - irrespective of age, gender, ability or past experience.
Be active and have fun.
- Wear comfortable clothing and soft shoes/pumps. All equipment will be provided.
- No running, just walking allowed.
- If you feel playing is beyond you then come along and help umpire or keep score?
We are looking forward to our 5th season outdoors at Oldswinford CC ground.
The First Wednesday session is on May 8th.
Last year the number of participants fluctuated week on week but we always had enough to make a good game of it.
We may not yet be the most skilful but players have shown great improvements aided by members who can still remember playing in their youth!

Although our game is designed for 8-a-side teams we would welcome more members to join us.
Why not come and see what we do.
Remember if you feel unable to bat or bowl there are opportunities to umpire or keep score.
