Wednesday 9th October 2019

Coach trip and tour of FORGE MILL, Redditch which has the only remaining original Victorian water powered needle scouring machine in the world. The Forge Mill expert tour guide will bring to life the story of the humble needle!

The tour at Forge Mill takes just under an hour - there are steps and the workshop is cramped in one area but some parts, including the museum and exhibition, are accessible for disabled.

We will be met with hot drinks and home made cake followed by the tour. Following time to take in the Exhibitions and Museum, we will return to the coach at about 12noon to 12.30 to be taken to EVESHAM COUNTRY PARK, a garden centre and shopping outlet with very nice cafes. We have stopped here en-route before and everyone wanted longer to look around!

Trip Departs Stanley Road at 9.15 am to arrive back at approximately 4.30 pm.

Price is £20 for members
