Acoustic Instrument Players
The Acoustic Music group has a core of instruments that include : Guitars, Ukuleles, a variety of Recorders, Mandolins a Clarinet, Soprano and Tenor Sax, Flute, Quatro, Concertina, Bodhran and other percussion, and Electronic Keyboard.
We are constantly on the lookout for other instruments to join us, and invite anyone interested in joining to contact me via e-mail (link below). There are some instruments that are oversubscribed however if interested please contact the Leader to see if your instrument is likely to fit in with the group.
Our musical tastes are vast from popular tunes to classical, Blues and folk. Most are instrumentals but we do have some voice pieces.
The ethos of the group is to get together, and really enjoy playing together. The expertise within the group is varied, and we help each other in any submissions made to the group for playing, with an emphasis on enjoyment, but also improvement, and learning new skills.
