STOKESLEY AND DISTRICT U3A GARDEN GROUP PROGRAMME 2024
JANUARY – NO MEETING
TUESDAY 13TH FEBRUARY 2 pm – The Brunton Room in Stokesley Town Hall
GARDENS IN ART – looking at the way artists have depicted gardens in paintings from ancient Egypt to the present day a talk by Tony Daniels
WEDNESDAY 13TH MARCH (AS PART OF THE MAIN MEETING IN THE TOWN HALL) 1.30pm for 2 pm start
‘REWILDING’ a talk by Jonathan Hill of ‘Rowlawn and Bio Scapes – ‘Connecting with Nature’
FRIDAY 12th APRIL
Visit to HARLOW CARR SPRING WEEKEND SHOW – this is a new Show in the Harlow Carr calendar. At the show there will be - ‘Potting shed’ talks and cookery demonstrations by Martin and Jill Fish, RHS Garden Advisors, Specialist Plant Nurseries, live music and various culinary delights for sale and ‘Flora Magic’ by Jonathan Moseley for those that enjoy flower arranging.
