Monthly general meetings are held at Methodist Central Hall in the Strand, Longton, ST3 2JH, on the last Thursday of each month. Doors open at 1.30pm for a 2pm start.

A range of activities are organised, including guest speakers, music, Jacobs Table, quiz, etc. Free parking is available on the Tesco Car Park which is only a short walk away.

The first monthly meeting of 2018 will take place on Thursday 25th January 2018.

Well known Local Historian Steve Booth will provide an entertaining talk on The Chimney Sweep.

Wed Feb 28th TENPIN BOWLING
The Tenpin Bowling group will be taking a break during December and January, but will resume in mid to late February 2018. These evening meetings are proving very popular and are really good value for money.

Thu Feb 15th CHARITY CONCERT FOR PARKINSONS DISEASE

St. Paul’s Church, Longton Hall Road, Blurton, ST3 2EL is hosting a charity concert to raise funds for the above on Thursday, 15th February, with a performance by the Audley Male Voice Choir. This will commence at 7.30pm and tickets cost £6.

Discussion

Local History
Tue Jan 23rd Group Members please note that meetings will now take place on alternate Tuesday Mornings from 10.30 am to 12.30. The first meeting under this new arrangement will take place on 23rd January. Meetings will as usual be held in Room 6 at Methodist Central Hall.
