Walking 1

Meets at various locations
Every week, Wednesday

This popular group meets weekly. Walks start at 10.00 and last until about 14.00-15.00. A few walks have a different start time, these are identified in the walks programme. Some require your bus pass if you have one. Walks are arranged in the Dales, North York Moors, North Yorkshire, County Durham and the coast. The walks are generally circular, around 8 miles long and paced so all can enjoy. Different leaders lead the walk each week giving a varied programme over the year. A new programme is produced twice yearly. After the walk, the group meets up for a relaxing tea or coffee at a local cafe or pub.
