History
The History group has been temporarily suspended due to illness.
In normal times the History group meets once a month on a Monday morning. We discuss and decide between us what we want to study. This is usually a country, but in the last few years as well as doing Russia, India and Australia we researched famous and infamous women and also studied the nineteenth century.
We each decide what we want to study each month. If we are doing a country we try to keep loosely to a timeline. What is good is that we mostly find something that we are personally interested in, to research. At the meetings we read out our findings which usually leads to us having a lively discussion about the subjects.
