Opera Appreciation
The Opera Group meets every Friday of every month throughout the year from 10am to 12 noon in the group leader’s home. Following a short introduction, operas, in both traditional and modern productions are watched on DVD with English sub-titles on screen.
There is a break for refreshments at an appropriate point and also time for questions and discussion. Sometimes we watch a whole opera in one morning. There are 186 operas on the shelves!!!
