Information for Group Leaders

Group Leaders - could you run your group using Zoom videoconferencing?
- Stanway U3A has a Zoom Pro licence which can be used to set up your meetings for free. With this licence you are not restricted to 40 minutes. We have a Google calendar added to the EVENTS page so you can check if the date/time you need Zoom are available to book. If you are interested please use Contacts page to send a note to Zoom enquiries.

CORONAVIRUS

Group leaders of sports and exercise activities, please ensure you read the latest guidance on COVID-19 secure measures required before considering restarting group activities. If in doubt contact your Group Sector Leader by sending a message via the Bluebird in the sidebar links.

An Outdoor Activity Risk Assessment - Word form must be completed by Group Leaders of sports and exercise, and approval is required from Stanway U3A Trustees before restarting.

Note also that U3A insurance may be invalidated if groups do not strictly adhere to current government requirements on social distancing.

If you would like to have copies, please contact the Administration Secretary via the Contact page who will e-mail them to you. Some resources can be obtained directly from U3A The Third Age Trust, though you may need to register on the site.

buffet *Group Leaders Business Buffet -Once a year in July/August there is a ‘Thank You’ event for all Stanway U3A Group Leaders to show the Committee's appreciation for our Group Leaders.
