Sports - Tai Chi
This gentle Martial Arts form is particularly beneficial for mature people; the moves develop and improve balance, mental well-being and flexibility. The injury rate is low while the health and fitness benefits are high for both body and mind. It is a special way of moving whose origins go back over 500 years to a remote village in China; today it is practised by over 200 million people worldwide. We learn and practise the Wu Style Long Form under the direction of an experienced Tai Chi tutor.
A new weekly beginners group will start on 7 February from 10am to 11am. There will be a tea/coffee break from 11am to 11.30am for the beginners and intermediate groups. The intermediate group will start from 11.30am until 1pm. There is a weekly charge of £2 per week, paid monthly, for both groups.
There is limited parking outside the hall, so please be prepared to park a little further down Spring Lane.
