Sports - Tai Chi

The group practising wu style long form This gentle Martial Arts form is particularly beneficial for mature people; the moves develop and improve balance, mental well-being and flexibility. The injury rate is low while the health and fitness benefits are high for both body and mind. It is a special way of moving whose origins go back over 500 years to a remote village in China; today it is practised by over 200 million people worldwide. We learn and practise the Wu Style Long Form under the direction of an experienced Tai Chi tutor.

We now have a beginners group from 10am to 11am. Then we have a tea/coffee break from 11am to 11.30am for the beginners and intermediate groups. The intermediate group starts from 11.30am until 1pm. There is a weekly charge of £2 per week, paid monthly, for both groups.

There is limited parking outside the hall, so please be prepared to park a little further down Spring Lane.

If you are interested in learning the benefits of this ancient, graceful Chinese exercise of movements, please use the Bluebird contact button at the top of the page.
