Events - Talks, Tours and Social Events
Tours and Social Events are currently suspended due to COVID-19 control measures, but see below regarding our speaker events:
As we still cannot host our physical Monthly Meetings at the Stanway Village Hall, we are pleased to announce that we are now offering 2 speaker presentations each month over the internet using ZOOM, the popular videoconferencing tool. We are also using live subtitles so that members with hearing impairments can benefit from our presentations.
See diary entries below for our next presentations, full details will be included in our newsletters. Please join us as members who have attended previous events have enjoyed the experience and we want more members to benefit.
Members need to register in advance to attend these events. Click Register for Zoom meetings to send an email stating your Membership Number and which meeting(s) you wish to attend. You can register for up to 6 meetings in advance.
To ensure you receive the joining instructions we ask you to register your interest by the Tuesday before a meeting as invitations are sent out by bulk email on the Wednesday. This helps reduce our volunteer time spent responding to late requests.
If you need help to get started with Zoom visit our Using Zoom page for access to guidance notes and individual support sessions .
