Singers/Stansted U3A Singers
The singers meet for rehearsal every Tuesday afternoon from 1pm till 2.30pm at OSCA in Henham. We sing a variety of music - classical, pop, favourites from musical shows, so something for everyone. At present there are 20 of us divided between sopranos and altos and many of our songs are in two-part harmonies. Each year we present two concerts in the village and we occasionally sing to entertain residents of care homes.
New members are very welcome - you don't need to be able to read music manuscripts as word-sheets are always available, and there is no audition. The choir are a friendly bunch and we find the weekly singing a great way to cheer up our days!
