We are a very friendly and supportive group, some with years of experience and others relatively new to researching their families history.
The aim of the Family History group meeting is to support the development of each members research into their family history. To achieve this aim the meeting falls into two parts. In the first I bring the latest information available on web sites and research from a monthly Family History magazine. Part two is when each member has the opportunity to share information they have obtained through their research or seek guidance/ideas from the group how to address a particular issue. It is this part of the meeting that's been the key to members finding lost relatives and extend their family tree back further in time.
So if your just starting to trace you Family roots, or picking it up again, why not come and join us. We can't guarantee we will help to answer all your questions, but we will have a good try.
Further opportunity to research your family history is provided by the Ancestry Group, see their group page.
