Seeing the world through the eyes of women
As its title suggests this group has as its focus the discussion and consideration of topics that are particularly relevant to the lives of women. On occasions these topics might be very specific, e.g. housework, at other times more generic, for example the 1950s. It is intended that group members will decide topics for meetings and there may be the need to find photos, newspaper articles or pieces from magazines to support the discussion, as well as considering personal experiences.
The group will meet 10:00 - 12:00 on the 4th Friday of the month in the larger meeting room in the St Ives Library.
The co-ordinators of the group are Lesley Guilfoyle, Lydia Harris and Stella Joyner. For more information please contact Stella via the email link on right of this page.
