Members of the Theatre Group enjoyed a very good production of “The Taste of Honey” at the Royal Exchange, Manchester and we are now looking forward to four more events. Before we give the details of all our events we need to inform members of the change of date for our Buxton visit. We needed to change the date to ensure we could find an available coach at a reasonable cost.

THE BUXTON VISIT IS NOW ON FRIDAY. 9th AUGUST

If this date is not suitable for you will you please contact Sheila or Margaret by phone as soon as you are able to and let us know whether you are still able to go to Buxton or not. We are happy to take more names of members who wish to join us either at the Opera house or just to have a day in Buxton. See details below

This is a comedic play which satirises Victorian society and its rigid social norms through witty dialogue and mistaken identity. The play explores themes of love , marriage and the hypocrisy of the upper class . Its enduring popularity stems from its sharp humour and clever word play.

Last date for booking is 24th April.
