We meet on two Fridays a month. At our first meeting, members sing, play, join in choruses, bring poems or just simply listen. At our second meeting, we concentrate on learning some of the songs we have heard performed by different members of the group. Our songs and music cover both the traditional and the contemporary. We also introduce favourite folk performers and songwriters to the group, through the use of cds and the occasional visit in person.
Our instrumental music group will continue to meet from 1.15 p.m., before the "main" group starts at 2.00 p.m. Any instruments welcome, playing either from dots or by ear.
