Gardening 1
We meet every third Friday of the month at 10 o’clock.
We are a “hands on” group giving tips and advice that relates to our own gardens.
In recent years we have had a talk on the history of Allotments; getting ready for Spring – filling our hanging baskets; discussing ‘difficult places’ in the garden; talked about drying and freezing herbs; taken cuttings – geraniums and hard/soft wood plants; exchanged plants and seeds and talked about the care of indoor plants – orchids.
In November we have a Christmas lunch and in December we make Christmas Decorations.
We pay £3.00 a year to cover administration costs and materials e.g. compost and soil.
In January it is our AGM and signing on.
The group currently has no vacancies.
