Canasta 1
The Group meets on the 2nd and 4th Friday of every month from 1.20pm – 5pm at various members’ houses in Staines, Ashford and Shepperton. There is a charge of £1 to cover cost for tea/coffee and biscuits.
Our aim is to improve our knowledge of Canasta and to have a good, sociable and enjoyable afternoon. Knowledge of Canasta is required but we do take beginners, one at a time, occasionally, when we have time available and they can be put on a standby/waiting list if they agree. This list has 4 members at the moment.
We have a Christmas get-together, usually held in one of the member's homes and everyone contributes to the food and drink.
It would be difficult to let the group get any bigger than 10 as we only have 2-3 members’ homes large enough to host the sessions at the moment. The group is currently full.
