Spelthorne K2

French Film Club**

The French Film Club is a combined group with Spelthorne U3A.

It is open to all members of Spelthorne K2 U3A and Spelthorne U3A who would like to watch French Films. They are shown every other month.

All films are subtitled in English.

The films are always shown at 2pm in Laleham Youth Centre/Church Hall, The Broadway, Laleham, TW18 1RZ (next to the Village Hall, at the far end of the car park).

There is a charge of £1.50 to cover the hire of the hall and a cup of tea and a biscuit after the film during which the film can be discussed.

The next French film to be shown will be 'Le Coeur en Braille' ('Heartstrings' - 2016). It has a run time of 85 minutes.

It will be shown on Thursday 22nd September at 2pm in the Laleham Youth Centre/Church Hall.

The Genre is Comedy, Drama. The synopsis is: Marie is a cello player and very talented teenager in school. Victor is a friendly boy, dynamic, but who has some academic difficulties. Ignoring the fact that Marie is losing sight, Victor falls in love with her. And little by little, to his great surprise, Marie starts to help him ... .
