Testing Information

There is now symptom free testing available to everyone 16+. These tests are allowed twice a week and you can access them in the following places:
1) Thameside Youth Centre, Staines (where walk-ins are allowed.)
2) Broadway Pharmacy, Staines
3) Hive Pharmacy, Edinburgh Drive, Laleham,
4) Trio Pharmacy , Shepperton
The three pharmacies will also give you a box of the lateral flow tests which you do yourself. If you then test positive, it is best to go and get a PCR Test which is more accurate as you don't want to self-isolate unless absolutely necessary!
These tests should be useful to people wanting to meet up with family and don't want to risk passing on the virus or have it passed on to you.

Please click here to see Surrey Corona virus testing information. This also covers any local Surrey Surge or Asymptomatic testing that is taking place.

Surge Testing is scheduled in a locality when and where a Corona virus variant has been found.

Asymptomatic Testing is given to symptom free, critical care workers who cannot work from home. It is usually intended to identify symptom free, infectious asymptomatic people at a particular work place or location so they can self isolate.
There is a testing site in the Thameside Centre, Langley Road, Staines. The telephone number to book is: 020 8865 1952. The results are given by text or email and take about 4 hours (usually shorter.) Proof of ID and appointments are needed, you must wear a mask and you mustn't eat or drink for 30 minutes before the test. The tests are self-administered.
