WRITING FOR PLEASURE
The Writing for Pleasure Group is run by Helena Larsen and eleven enthusiastic budding writers meet in her home once a month.
The morning consists of two subjects to be written and read out in the class and, after tea and biscuits, the reading out loud of the previous month’s homework. This is usually done with a great deal of laughter and a small amount of constructive criticism. We usually start the morning with one of the members reading a favourite poem or sharing with the Group an item from a publication which they think will be of interest.
The main object of the Group is to share and improve their writing whilst at the same time having a most enjoyable two hours.
