We take turns to meet in members' homes and because of this we limit our number to 8 to enable members to be able to accommodate us. However if members cannot accommodate 8 it would not exclude them.

Members take turns to choose books for the group to read and we usually use the Library Book Group reading list. We are a friendly bunch with varied opinions and tastes, everyone has an opportunity to give their opinion of the book we read and give a score out of ten, arriving at an average score per book. The person who selects the book researches some information about the author.

The host provides refreshments, either tea/coffee and biscuits/cake and we have even been known to have wine!

Throughout the year we have enjoyed a meal out and each Christmas we have enjoyed a joint party with Book Club 1 and Book Club 3.
