POETRY GROUP
With Great Pleasure
Lemn Sissay, Philip Larkin, Emily Dickinson, Lord Tennyson - they have all joined us for some of our recent meetings.
We are a small friendly group who decide amongst ourselves what we would like to do. Usually it involves us reading aloud some of our favourite poetry. Some of us have studied Eng Lit, many of us have not - we all agree with the U3A belief that we can learn from each other and the only qualification is taking an interest and an enjoyment in sharing poetry.
We do not pen our own, but we are open to anybody who might do. You would receive a very warm welcome. Give us a try!!!
