ARMCHAIR PLAYERS
We meet once a month in Burnage and each session is followed by a cup of tea and a chat.
WHAT DO WE READ?
We read a variety of plays, ranging from hilarious comedies to serious plays.
The most recent plays we have read are:
Arthur Miller’s A VIEW FROM THE BRIDGE, Agatha Christie’s THE HOLLOW, Alan Ayckbourn’s SEASONS GREETINGS and CHORUS OF DISAPPROVAL and MEMORIES OF WATER by Stephenson.
It’s a play reading for fun’ group and we enjoy ourselves reading a variety of parts. There are not many men in the group, so the ladies often have to take a man’s part.
No acting ability required! If you only want a small part, that’s fine – if you just want to listen, that’s fine too.

As well as the Armchair Players there is also a Play Reading Group (click on link to view)
