WALKING FOR HEALTH (TUES)
Walking for Health (Tuesday Group) takes place on the last Tuesday of each month (except December). Walks are usually about three to three and a half miles. They are by and large reasonably flat and and avoid stiles where possible, but mud cannot always be avoidable!

The meeting point varies from month to month depending on the walk, so it could be Stockport Bus Station, Victoria Station, Piccadilly Gardens or a tram stop. Those who have bus passes are usually able to travel on public transport using the bus pass but, just occasionally, the walkers have to pay a little extra because they are travelling outside the bus pass area. The Group try to meet at a time which enables people to reach the meeting point using their bus passes after 9.30am.
The walks end with a pub lunch before using public transport to return.
