Shakespeare Centre, Highgate, Kendal
Members enjoy talks, by other members and outside speakers, on all aspects of this subject. Once a year, in June, we usually combine with the Culture Trips group for an outing, by coach, to a place of historical interest.
UPDATE DECEMBER
Local History re-started in September, and although the group has been quite small so far, we have had some interesting talks, enjoyed by all.
The next meeting is on January 26th, and is entitled "The Mystery of the Chimney at Jenny Brown's Point. The speaker - Simon Williams - is not a u3a member, so we will need to ask for donations.
