Country Dancing

Co-ordinators: Alison Jones and Ann Robinson
Meetings: Weekly, Monday, 9.00 – 10.30 a.m., Abbott Hall Social Centre

Our Monday morning sessions are a lot of fun.

Members are encouraged to "have a go" at calling the steps and we have an extensive list of dances and the CDs to accompany them.

Our repertoire is mainly English Country dances and includes circle, longways and square sets.

Partners are not needed and it is hoped that dancers will get to know people by changing partners during the morning

UPDATE DECEMBER

Country Dancing started again in September with windows open and all attending happy to wear masks. Several members have kindly volunteered to call this term which has made for some variety and been a great help. The term finishes with our usual Ceilidh, but without the Jacob's Join, and we plan to start again on Monday 10th January.

We are still not able to open the waiting list unfortunately but as soon as the opportunity arises I will contact those already on the list.
