MAY 2022
Finally! we have had our visit to Chester and Liverpool!
After a pleasant coach ride to Chester, we had free time to explore and have lunch. In the afternoon we were met by our two guides who took us on a fascinating tour of the city.
In the afternoon, we travelled to Liverpool, where we stayed at our hotel which is a stone’s throw from Albert Dock and the Liver Building.
The next day, was either a free day for sightseeing, or we had arranged an optional coach trip where we first went to Strawberry Field with it's excellent visitor centre, Then on to The Beatles Story on Albert Dock with the re-creations of the Cavern Club and other venues the Beatles played, then on board the Mersey Ferry for a cruise to see Liverpool from the water.
On our final day we travelled to Port Sunlight where a Blue Badge Guide took us on a tour of the village, with a visit to the Museum and Soap Works. We then visited the Lady Lever Art Gallery, having lunch in their café before we returned to Solihull tired but happy!
NOVEMBER 2022

We have arranged a daytrip, by coach, to the City of Oxford £25 per person, guests welcome
17th & 18th November
We are visiting the amazing Thursford Christmas Spectacular in Norfolk, with an overnight stay at the Wensum Valley Hotel and Country Club and then a visit to Norwich before returning home. Best seats in the house at Thursford, and Dinner, bed & breakfast at the hotel @ £200 SORRY FULLY BOOKED!

Coach excursion to Trentham for Christmas shopping @ £23 per person, guests welcome

13th We visited to Castle Ashby Gardens and Althorpe House, staying overnight at Seabrook Hall Hotel (D.B.B.)

13th History tour of Aston with Nigel Cripps, with lunch at the Aston Tavern and a tour of Aston Hall
April 2020
2nd April Coach trip to visit The Jockey Club, Newmarket National Stud, Museum and Art Gallery
May 2020
3 day luxury coach trip to Chester and Liverpool, with a Blue Badge guide showing us Chester, and then staying at what were the offices of The White Star Line, now the hotel at 30 James Street (D.B.B.) 'The Home of the Titanic' see Derek for details.
Sadly cancelled due to Covid-19, but all monies have been refunded to our members
