Book Group 1, 2, 3
We are a lively and vocal Group who readily embrace each other's choice of books, and are interested in developing and broadening the range of our reading.
The Group meets at the Solihull Methodist Church Hall, on the fourth Tuesday in the month from 2.00 - 4.00 p.m.
Due to the room size, group membership is limited to 16 but currently we have space for one more member. All group members donate £10 each towards the monthly room rental which is currently £14 per session.
Members each take a turn in choosing a book to read. Members felt that what we valued and gained from the book group was reading a wide range of literature that we probably wouldn’t have chosen by ourselves. We follow our established U3A tradition by having tea and cakes after our discussion!
Additional Group Established
Following on from the success of the existing Reading Group, which is now at full capacity, there is now a 2nd and third group.
